SONLIFE SUMMER OUTREACH June 24 – July 2
Summer of Service
Our Summer Outreach is going to be to a cute little orphanage down in Hebei Province. Their activity room and library were damaged by flooding, so we are going to do an EXTREME MAKEOVER on these rooms, then stock them with fun games, toys and books. This is a project all of us can be involved in, so please start bringing these items to FUEL. We would appreciate new or like new items. We want to give our best, not our broken leftovers. We will also be collecting RMB to pay for the remodel. Bring your RMB to FUEL and help support our efforts. If you are interested in GOING please email me at sonlife@mac.com and I will email you the application. We are looking for a team of 10 to go. This is going to be a great week of service, fun and friendship. Trust me you will not regret giving of your time or resources.
BIG SUNDAY!!
This Sunday is going to be packed full. We will be starting our new series with a guest speaker called “Revolutionize Your Relationships”. See you at FUEL 9:30am. The BIG FREEZE is on! Be at Sanlitun at 1:330m. See our EMERGE Facebook for details. At 2:00pm we have rented out a big 237 seat theater to see the movie AVENGERS. If you have bought a pre-sold ticket you are set. If you have one reserved bring your money to FUEL. If you have not reserved one, there are only 20 left so make sure to bring your money to FUEL. If you cannot get a ride down to Sanlitun a 20 passenger bus leaves at 1:00 sharp from 21st. First come, first serve! THERE WLL BE NO RETURN BUS, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE TO GET YOUR OWN RIDE HOME. Come early, hang out at FUEL.

This Sunday is going to be WET. Yep a bunch of FUELer’s are going to be taking the faith step of baptism. We still meet at the same time, 9:30am. We will have FUEL, then head over to the baptism at 10:30am. It will be held in a room behind the auditorium.
Hey, many of you are still talking about our time of worship at Campference, and personally I have not been able to get those songs out of my head or heart. If you had a special time with God I would challenge you to email the band. You can find ENDLESS TRIBUTE on FB, or you can email them at guilherme_11@hotmail.com. I know they would love to hear from you. They really sacrificed to make the trip to China, and I know hearing from you would be a big encouragement to them. Also, remember we promised to pray for the Korean Church, so keep them in your prayers. SEE YOU SUNDAY!! Let’s get our worship on, and cheer on those who are getting baptized.
FUEL THIS WEEK!!
This past weekend was awesome, so hopefully we can pick up where we left off. Here are some things to be ready for when you come to FUEL this Sunday. BRING A FRIEND SUNDAY!
1. Baptism: Many of you have indicted you want to be baptized, so we will be having a baptism next week April 29. We will talk more on Sunday but be ready to sign up if you feel this is for you. Read the first part of Romans 5 to get ready.
2. Missions Trip: We will have a sign-up for those interested in going on a missions trip June 20 – 30. More details Sunday.
3. Relive the memories from EMERGE with plenty of video, pictures and free give aways. Endless Tribute shirts, CD’s, and posters.

It’s tradition for people to go to church on Easter but that is kind of sad if you think about it and really ironic. Easter celebrates the day Jesus rose from the grave providing us with forgiveness, and the power over sin and death. Do people really think showing up on Easter Sunday in their best clothes does justice to the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross? Yikes, that is messed up!
Why not use this tradition in our favor? I challenge you to invite a friend to church this Sunday. We will have a hip hop dancer, guest speaker from San Francisco and the lead singer from Endless Tribute will be leading worship. We will also open up with some tasty pancakes, so come early and come hungry.

The registration and payment deadline for the Spring Youth conference is this Sunday, April 1st. Bring your payment on Sunday to Fuel and if you still haven’t registered, do so ASAP.

When is the conference?
April 14th & 15th. All day Saturday and Sunday. Check-in is at 8:30am at the Daniel Vision Center.
How do I register?
You must register online. Click here for registration.
Where exactly is the Daniel Vision Center?
It’s located just north of 5th ring road and west of JingCheng Expressway. Here’s a map. Most cab drivers will NOT know where it is. The closest subway stops are BeiYuanLuBei on Line 5, and WangJingXi on Line 13.
Is there a bus to the venue on Saturday morning?
There are buses leaving from River Gardens main entrance, Atlantic Place main gate, 21st Century Hotel, and the Mac Center at 8am sharp. Buses will not be waiting for people, so get there early.

Do I need my passport?
You should bring a copy of your passport and carry it with you at all times during the conference. If you are with a group that is staying overnight at a hotel you may need your actual passport for checking in.
How much does it cost?
The conference is very cheap this year, only ¥400. If you register or pay after April 1st there is a ¥100 late fee.
What about overnight housing?
Overnight housing is being organized by individual churches and groups. Students can either choose to go home on Saturday night or check with their youth leader. Scholarships
We don’t want a lack of funds to keep you from attending an event, and we have always been able to find ways for students with financial needs to attend youth camps and conferences.
We offer partial scholarships (half of the camp or conference fee) for those who live in the Beijing area. For those with additional need we will also offer work opportunities for students to earn the rest of their camp fee.
Students who live outside of Beijing should contact Tanya for information about other scholarship options. We may be able to offer a Travel Scholarship to help defer the cost of coming to Beijing to attend the conference.
PERMISSION FORM
Download and print off the permission form. A parent or guardian must sign it and the student must bring it with them to the conference on Saturday morning. DOWNLOAD PERMISSION FORM.

YOUTH SPRING CAMPFERENCE
Don’t forget to register this week for the EMERGE Campference. We have a great location and an amazing band coming in from San Francisco. I have attached some information on the band. This campference is going to be a life changing experience. We will be looking at “Who are you Becoming?” It’s going to be off the hook! Here are the steps you need to follow: 1. Register online 2. Pay your conference fee to your youth leader. 3. Be at Camperference April 14 @ 8:30am. 4. Each group will set up it’s own housing. We will be meeting in Wangjing just off North 5th Ring behind Decathalon.
